Margashirsha Purnima 2022 Puja: According to the Hindu calendar, the full moon day is the last day of every month. Margashirsha Purnima Puja Vidhi
- On the day of Marshish Purnima, one should bathe in the holy river or its water in Brahma Muhurta. Meditate on Lord Vishnu and take a vow of fasting.
- If possible, apply cow dung at the place of worship. Sprinkle Gangajal.
- Abhishek Lakshmi-Narayan with Panchamrit. Sandalwood, ashtagandh, roli, molly, flowers, gulal, abir, vermilion, fruits, sweets, offered.
- Tulsi seed must be put in Shri Hari’s bhog, but Tulsi leaf should not be put while offering Prasad to Mata Lakshmi, it is considered inappropriate in the scriptures.
- Recite the story of Lord Satyanarayan by lighting a lamp of dhi. worship time Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya And Krishna Krishna Namah Do chant mantras. By chanting the mantra, the worship of the devotee becomes successful soon.
- Do Raki and donate money, grains, woolen clothes to the poor according to your capacity. Serve the cow in the Gaushala. It is said that the donation made on Marshish Purnima is 32 times fruitful as compared to other Purnima, hence it is also called Battisi Purnima.
- According to Puranas, Lord Dattatreya, the son of Anusuiya and Atri Muni, was born on Margashirsha Purnima during Pradosh period. In this case, worship Lord Dattatreya with Shodopachar in the evening. On worshiping them one gets the blessings of the trinity together.
