A married woman committed suicide by hanging herself under suspicious circumstances in Sarai Khwaja area of ​​Shahganj, Agra. The relatives of the deceased allege that she was troubled by the exploitation of neighboring youths. The youth were blackmailing by making obscene videos. Angered by this, he committed suicide. Police conducted post-mortem. But, case was not registered. He is forced to wander with the complaint. The incident took place on the afternoon of 16 April. The dead body of the married woman was found hanging in the house. The brother of the deceased told that the sister was married in the year 2017. Brother-in-law works as a labourer. Have two daughters. Sister and brother-in-law live in a rented house with their children. It is alleged that while the sister was taking bath, two youths living in the neighborhood made a video.

After this they started blackmailing. Started exploiting him. Started calling him. The sister informed her husband and mother-in-law about this. He went to the youth’s house to complain. But, the family of the accused started threatening. On complaining to the police, they started talking about defaming him.

A Panchayat was also organized by calling the people of the society. But the accused did not agree. Started asking to defame him. When he did not agree, he defamed his friends by sending them obscene photos. On April 15, they started playing obscene songs by installing a music system outside the house. During this, he also started saying obscene things about his sister. objected to. But the young man did not agree. Entered the house and abused and beat him. This made the sister upset. Hanged himself in the house.

Met police four times, still no case

The deceased’s brother told that he went to the police four times to complain. Once an application was given in the Police Commissioner’s office. But, the case was not registered. The outpost in-charge is pressurizing for an agreement. It is being said that the accused will get bail within some time. So compromise. They are pressurizing him to hush up the matter by taking Rs 5 lakh.

Complaint sent on WhatsApp without signature

ACP Lohamandi Mayank Tiwari says that the father of the deceased had sent the complaint on WhatsApp. There was no signature on it. He was called to the police station. Was asked to sign. But he said that he will sign only when the police raids first. A raid was conducted on this. The accused were not found. Now father was called several times. But, they are not coming to file the complaint. The police also have audio clips of the conversation with the father.

Police under question

The victim’s family says that an application was given in the Police Commissioner’s office on April 20. An inquiry was ordered into the matter. Despite this the police did not register a case. The question arises that what did the police continue to do in a suicide case even though the allegations were serious. The case was not registered just because there was no signature. The functioning of the police is under question.
