On Tuesday afternoon, the body of a married woman was found hanging from a noose in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. When the family members saw her, they started crying. Hearing the noise, people from the vicinity also came. Police reached the spot and collected information after inspecting the spot. Police is investigating the case.

The incident took place in Navali village of Nauhjheel police station area. Village resident Kunal was married to Khushboo two years ago. They have a four-month-old son. On Tuesday afternoon, Khushboo’s body was found hanging from a sari noose on a hook in the verandah of the house. When the family members saw her, they took her down. They informed her parents.

On getting the information, the family members of the bride’s side reached there. They accused the in-laws of murdering her for dowry. They informed the police. On getting the information, Inspector Shailendra Singh, CO Gunjan Singh and Naib Tehsildar Surir Anita Gupta reached the spot. The in-laws said that Khushboo had committed suicide. On the demand of the family members, the police sent the body for post-mortem.

Inspector Shailendra Singh said that when we reached the spot, the woman’s body was found lying on the ground. There were marks on the neck. No complaint has been received yet. CO Gunjan Singh said that the exact cause of death will be known after the postmortem report comes. Necessary action will be taken after receiving the complaint.
