Mathura News: Crooks looting silver, IG and team inspecting the scene

In Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura, on Sunday, two bike-borne miscreants looted 20 kg of silver from a scooty rider by throwing chilli powder in their eyes. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police officers reached the spot. The police searched the CCTV cameras nearby. On this, the entire incident was captured in the CCTV camera. Based on the footage, the police is looking for the miscreants.
The incident was carried out in broad daylight
The incident took place near Dwarikespuri colony of Govind Nagar police station area. Motilal, a servant of silver merchant Advocate Prabhudayal Gupta, was returning to the shop at Dwarikespuri after cleaning silver anklets from the factory in Bairagpura Govind Nagar at around one o’clock in the afternoon. On the way, two miscreants riding a bike escaped by snatching a bag full of silver anklets from a moving scooty. Motilal ran to catch the miscreants. It also caught a crook.

IG reached the spot with SSP
Meanwhile, another miscreant sprinkled chilli powder in Motilal’s eyes and both fled. People around gathered on making noise. On information, Tana police along with IG Deepak Kumar, SSP Shailesh Pandey, SP City Martand Pratap Singh reached the spot. The SSP said that the miscreants are being searched on the basis of CCTV footage.
