Mayawati expressed grief on K Armstrong: Tamil Nadu Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) president K Armstrong was murdered by a group of six people near his house on Friday. BSP supremo Mayawati has expressed grief over the death of BSP leader K Armstrong. Along with this, former CM Mayawati has asked for strict action against the culprits.
BSP supremo Mayawati posted on Instagram and wrote, “The brutal murder of BSP Tamil Nadu State Unit President K. Armstrong outside his Chennai residence this evening is extremely sad and highly condemnable. Armstrong, a lawyer by profession, was known as a strong voice of Dalits in the state. The government should take strict action against the culprits immediately.”

Our condolences and prayers are with his family in this hour of grief.”
Attacked near BSP leader’s house
Regarding this incident, the police said that the attackers on two-wheelers attacked former Chennai Municipal Corporation councilor Armstrong near his house in Perambur and fled. The BSP leader was seriously injured in this attack, they said that Armstrong died while being taken to the hospital. At the same time, the police have started a search to trace and arrest the suspects.
