Uttar Pradesh Transport Corporation has got its first woman bus driver. Her name is Priyanka Sharma, who is a native of Hardori village under Banka district of Bihar.

UP Transport Corporation has recently recruited 26 new bus drivers, including Priyanka Sharma. Talking about her struggles, Priyanka said that her husband was addicted to alcohol, due to which he died at an early age. After this, the responsibility of the family and two children fell on him.

Priyanka came to Delhi in search of work, where she got a job in a factory. Meanwhile, he took admission in the driving school and then decided to drive a truck after learning driving. Earlier this year, he came to know about the recruitment of drivers in the UP Transport Corporation.

For this he filled the form and also passed it. After this he took training and then in September he got posted. Along with this, Priyanka thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UP CM Yogi Adityanath.
