A person suffering from mental trauma is always angry. Mental trauma is a kind of psychological and stressful process. It can be of many types. Due to this, many types of changes occur in the body physically and emotionally. Due to which the person feels very upset and helpless after a while. 

Due to trauma, many types of hormonal changes occur in the body. Due to which the person has to go through many physical problems. Mental trauma can happen to anyone at any time. It can be due to a terrible incident like an accident, crime or natural disaster. This can cause mental trauma. Nowadays, due to bad lifestyle and eating habits, most people experience mental trauma. In some people, this trauma gets cured within a week but some people have to face it for many days.

According to the American Psychological Association (APA), trauma is an emotional response to a terrible event, such as an accident, rape or natural disaster. However, a person can experience trauma as a reaction to any event that they find physically or emotionally dangerous or harmful. The traumatized person may feel a range of emotions immediately and in the long term after the event. They may feel overwhelmed, helpless, in shock or have difficulty understanding their experiences. Trauma can also cause physical symptoms.

Post-traumatic stress disorder
Trauma can have long-term effects on a person’s health. If symptoms persist and do not decrease in severity, it may indicate that the trauma has developed into a mental health disorder called post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Acute trauma: This results from a stressful or dangerous event

Chronic trauma: This results from repeated and prolonged exposure to highly stressful events. Examples include cases of child abuse, bullying, or domestic violence.

Secondary trauma: This occurs from exposure to multiple traumatic events.
Secondary trauma, or vicarious trauma, is another form of trauma. In this form of trauma, a person develops trauma symptoms from close contact with someone who has experienced a traumatic event. Family members, mental health professionals, and others who care for people who have experienced a traumatic event are at risk for vicarious trauma. The symptoms often mirror the symptoms of PTSD.
