MG Electric Car: JSW-MG Motor India had recently increased the prices of Hector, Hector Plus and Astor. Now the company has also increased the price of ZS EV. MG Motors has increased the price on this vehicle by Rs 32 thousand. But this increase in price has been done only on a few variants. With this change, the starting ex-showroom price of MG ZS EV has become Rs 18.98 lakh. Whereas the price of its top-end variant is up to Rs 25.75 lakh.
MG’s electric car becomes expensive
After the increase in the price of MG Motors’ electric car, the price of its dark gray variant has increased by Rs 32 thousand. Whereas the price of Essence Dual-Tone Ionic Ivory and 100-Year Edition has increased by Rs 31 thousand. An increase of Rs 30,200 can be seen in the price of Exclusive Plus Dark Gray and Rs 30 thousand in Exclusive Plus dual-tone Ionic Ivory variants of this electric SUV. There is no change in the price of entry-level variants Executive and Excite Pro of this EV.
MG ZS EV range
This MG electric car has a battery pack of 50.3 kWh, due to which this car claims to give a range of 461 kilometers in a single charging. This car comes with the feature of ADAS Autonomous Level-2, due to which this car reaches the speed of 0 to 100 kmph in 8.5 seconds. This EV of MG is included in the Indian market with four color variants.
What will MG ZS EV change?
The British automaker revealed the ES5 SUV at the Paris Motor Show 2024, which may debut in the European and Chinese markets in mid-2025. This new car of MG can replace ZS EV. It has been almost five years since the MG ZS EV was launched. Now the company can bring a new car in place of this electric car.
MG ES5 can be equipped with a battery pack of 49.1 kWh. The company can also launch this car with a more powerful 62.2 kWh battery pack. With this battery pack, this car can give a range of 425 kilometers to 525 kilometers. This car can generate power of 174 bhp and torque of 280 Nm from the front axle motor attached to the vehicle.
