Chhatri is constructed after the funeral
Devikund Sagar is recognized as the last resting place of the royal family members of Bikaner state. In this Moksh Dham, after the death of any member of the royal family, his last rites have been performed here. After the funeral, a chhatri is constructed at the same place. For the last three decades, a large number of domestic and foreign tourists come to see these umbrellas. Besides, curiosity is also seen among the tourists about the milk umbrella.

This umbrella belongs to the wife of Maharaja Ganga Singh
Jaikishan Purohit, associated with Mokshadham, told Local 18 that Maharaja Ganga Singh’s wife Ballabh Kunwar died on 19 August 1906. Their elders have seen milk dripping from here with their own eyes and now there are traces of it here, which are proof of this. They say that Queen Ballabh Kunwar’s child died soon after birth and the Queen was not able to breastfeed him.
Certainly there is no historical and scientific evidence for this. But it is true that out of all the marble and Mughal period umbrellas in this Mokshadham, there is only one such umbrella where milk dripping has come to light. Here, muddy white liquid has been dripping from the dome to the bottom and its traces are still present here. Many times it was seen as a slow leakage. Milk used to come out from this umbrella of Bikaner, the last rites of the Maharaja’s wife were performed, what is its story.
