Mind Diet Helps In Improving Brain Function


Mind Diet:Nowadays, the risk of many diseases like dementia, Alzheimer’s and forgetfulness is increasing with increasing age, some of these are brain diseases which are not even treated yet. In such a situation, just like there is a diet plan to keep the body healthy, the mind diet has been created to keep the mind healthy. The diet consists of such foods and foods, the consumption of which helps in reducing mental health issues. Can Mind diet has been designed to keep the brain healthy to increase memory. This diet is a combination of Mediterranean diet and DASH diet. Let us know which foods are included in the mind diet.

These foods are included in mind diet

1.Green leafy vegetables including spinach, lettuce, kale, and other cooked vegetables. Green leafy vegetables should be eaten 6 or more times per week.

2.Try to eat at least once a day some other vegetable other than green leafy vegetables. It is best to choose non-starchy vegetables as they are low in calories and high in nutrients.

3.Must eat berries at least 2 times a week. Antioxidants are present in all berries like strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries.

4.Try to eat nuts 5 or more times each week.

5.Use olive oil as cooking oil

6.Try to eat whole grains like oatmeal, brown rice, whole wheat pasta, whole wheat bread at least 3 days a week.

7.Consume fish once a week, choose fish like salmon, tuna, for high amounts of omega three fatty acids

8.Try to eat chicken at least 2 times a week, keep in mind that it should not include fried chicken.

9.Include beans in at least 4 meals per week, including beans, pulses and soybeans.

Avoid these foods in mind dead

If you are following mind diet then eating food like butter, cheese, redmeat, sweets, pastry fried food is prohibited.
