Mini Mathur says that she decided to leave ‘Indian Idol’ when she realized that the show had lost its charm. Why Mini Mathur left ‘Indian Idol’
In Cyrus Broacha’s podcast, Mini Mathur told that she used to connect with the contestants and even invite them for dinner at her house. She said, ‘He used to come to my house for dinner and I used to spend hours with him. I left the show when I realized that there is no reality left in the show. I did six seasons. After that the focus started only on earning money.
The show had become constructive
Mini Mathur further said that I really did not like the fact that the reality of the show had now become constructive. Recalling an anecdote, Mini told that once she was told that a contestant would be surprised to see his relative while he already knew that the relative was going to appear on the show.
Producers used to make such demands
He told, ‘Our producers used to come to me and say that Dharam ji and Hema are coming now, they have to do some moments. I said that let’s do the moment that it happens. It is not something that I am going to do and of course it was not just an idol. After this I did a lot, but everything was the same.
