The police have arrested the minor and the jeweler who bought the jewellery. The search for another jeweler in the case is on. He had bought two gold chains for Rs 2 lakh.

In Najafgarh area of ââDwarka, a 15-year-old minor stole his motherâs jewellery from home and sold it to two jewellers to gift an iPhone to his girlfriend on her birthday. The accused even bought the iPhone. But soon his secret was revealed. The police caught the minor and the jeweller who bought the jewellery.
The arrested accused jeweler has been identified as Kamal Verma (40), resident of Sudarshan Park, Moti Nagar. Police are looking for the other jeweler. Police have recovered the iPhone and some of the jewellery sold from the minor and the jeweler. The minor is a student of class IX. His mother refused to give him money. So he committed theft.
