A case of rape of a class XI student has come to light in Sagar area of South-West district. After the incident, the student, who was returning home in an e-rickshaw, fell unconscious under the Dabri metro station. Blood was coming out from his private parts. When passers-by informed the police about the matter, there was a stir in the district.
The student was immediately admitted to DDU Hospital. The student was given counseling during the treatment. Later, when her statement was taken, the rape was revealed. The police conducted a raid late on Tuesday night and caught the accused 17-year-old minor boy. During interrogation, the accused confessed to the rape. The accused and the victim student became friends through Instagram in the month of October. After this both of them used to talk to each other. After taking the accused into custody, the police also investigated the room where the crime was committed. Apart from the crime team, the FSL team has collected evidence from the spot.
According to the police, the victim girl lives with her family in Sagarpur area. She is a student of class XI in a government school in the area. The victim told that a few months ago she had become friends with the accused boy through Instagram. The boy is a class 12 student in another government school. Both started talking to each other. On Tuesday, the victim left home for coaching. After the class, the accused expressed his desire to meet the student. He took the girl to the room of one of his friends. The victim says that the accused brought Chole-Bhatura. The victim lost her senses as soon as she ate it. After this, when she regained consciousness, the accused committed the crime with her.
The victim started crying and started going to her home in an e-rickshaw. There was bleeding from his private parts. After reaching below Dabri Metro station, the student became unconscious and fell on the road from the e-rickshaw. After this, the police reached the spot and took the student to the hospital. Later his family was informed. After counseling the student, the accused was caught. The police is interrogating him and investigating the matter. The footage of CCTV cameras installed around the incident spot is also being investigated. Efforts are also being made to find out whether anyone else has any involvement in the incident.
