In Kishni police station area of Mainpuri, the miscreants who were running away after stealing buffalo, ran over the farmer when they stopped him. The farmer died on the spot due to direct collision. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the village.

45 year old Satyanarayan Batham, son of Vidyaram Batham, resident of Harisinghpur of Nagar Panchayat, has a roadside house on Bidhuna road. The incident happened at four o’clock on Tuesday morning. The miscreants who came early in the morning stole the buffalo from outside Satyanarayan’s house. The miscreants were taken away in a buffalo pickup vehicle. Earlier, the buffalo of Dharmendra Shakya of the same village was also stolen from the vehicle. There was an awakening in the village due to the sound of miscreants. Hearing the noise, Satyanarayan also woke up from his sleep.
Seeing Satyanarayan coming towards them, the miscreants drove away the pickup vehicle. During this, Satyanarayan and his wife tried to stop the vehicle. The miscreants crushed Satyanarayan with the car, while the wife narrowly escaped. Crushing the farmer, the thieves fled towards Kishni intersection. Satyanarayan died on the spot. On receiving the information, Police Station Head Maharaj Singh Bhati reached the spot with the police force. He has filled the Panchnama of the body and sent it for post-mortem.
