mobile recharge plans: People are very happy about Christmas and New Year. To fade the enthusiasm of the new year, a news has come to the fore. Actually, mobile recharge plans can be expensive from the new year. Tariff can be increased by telecom operators. Telecom giants Jio and Airtel can increase the prices of existing plans by up to 10 percent to increase revenue and margin. According to a report by Business Insider, other telecom operators including Jio and Airtel may announce a 10 percent hike in tariffs in the next 3 years i.e. Financial Year 2023, Financial Year 2024 and Financial Year 2025. This means that in the coming 3 years, in every fourth quarter, the user will see an increase in the prices of mobile recharge plans.
According to the report, telecommunication companies can take this decision due to increasing pressure on revenue and margin. However, this time in the third quarter of this year, the average revenue per user ie ARPU of Airtel, Vodafone-Idea (VI) and Jio is marginally higher. If there is an increase in the plans from the new year, then the companies will definitely benefit from it.
Airtel has already increased the prices of plans

The company started this plan in select rural circles including Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, Rajasthan and UP East.
