How to detect SIM card scam
Here you have to enter your mobile number and type the captcha. For this, an OTP will come on your mobile number and you have to enter that OTP. When you share the OTP, all the details will appear on the screen. Here you will know how many SIM cards have been issued in your name.
If you find out that someone is using a SIM card in your name, then you can report that number and also lodge a complaint. After this, the government will investigate the numbers which are running in your name and about which you have complained. The government will block that number if it is issued fraudulently.
Recently, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has changed a rule regarding SIM card. Due to this rule, after SIM swap, that SIM cannot be ported to another company for 7 days. This rule will be implemented from July 1.
