Modi government big gift on New Year farmers of these 5 states will get benefits copra price policy


The central government has given a big gift to the farmers of 5 states before the New Year. Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that the Modi government has always worked with a spirit of dedication for the farmers. He said that today a big decision has been taken for the farmers. Vaishnav told that price policy 2025 has been announced for copra (coconut shell).

Ashwini Vaishnav said, the price of milling copra has been increased by Rs 422 compared to last year. That means now it will be purchased at Rs 11582. Whereas the price of ball copra has been increased by Rs 100 per quintal as compared to last year. Now it will be purchased at Rs 12100 per quintal.

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said, it is produced the most in Karnataka. Karnataka has 32.7 percent share in the total production. Whereas Tamil Nadu has 25.7 percent share in production, Kerala has 25.4 percent and Andhra Pradesh has 7.7 percent share. He told that a budget of Rs 855 crore has been kept by the government for this.

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said, many decisions have been taken for the welfare of farmers. This shows our commitment, the Prime Minister’s commitment towards improving the lives of farmers. Karnataka has the highest share in copra production in our country. Both NAFED and NCCF will be the central nodal agencies for the procurement of copra and apart from this the state governments will have a big role in this, hence this procurement will be done in collaboration with the state government corporations.
