In an interview given to ETimes, Jugal Hansraj said, âWhen I was doing films, I signed 40 films but when some films flopped, the makers of those 40 films started moving away from me. At first I felt like crying but later when I got calls that the film is being closed or there is no work left, I used to say âthank youâ to them and hang up.â
Jugal Hansraj further said that whenever he used to go to the muhurat of a film, people used to taunt him. People started taunting him personally. Jugal told that he had to listen to a lot, had to endure a lot but one thing people should always understand is that in the film world people are good to you only till the time you are successful.
People donât care about even the biggest stars when their films flop. After âMohabbateinâ, Jugal Hansraj did films like âKabhi Kabhi Khushi Kabhiâ, âSalaam Namasteâ, âAaja Nachleâ but stayed away from the industry for some time. Then he made a comeback with the film âKahaani 2â (2016).
Jugal Hansraj was last seen in Anupam Kherâs film âShiv Shastri Balboaâ in the year 2022. According to reports, apart from films, Jugal Hansraj also does business.
