Mohammed Shami and Sania Mirza: A few months ago, rumors of the marriage of Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami and the country’s veteran female tennis player Sania Mirza were at their peak. On those rumours, Sania’s father had also given a statement saying that these marriage rumors are nonsense. Well, the news of Shami and Sania’s marriage turned out to be false, but the lives of both have progressed on almost the same path and both are currently facing similar times.
Mohammed Shami’s life ruined
Mohammed Shami made his international debut for India in the year 2013 and the very next year he decided to settle down in his personal life also. In 2014, he married model and dancer Haseen Jahan in Bengal. Only after a year of marriage, he got the privilege of becoming the father of a daughter, whose name is Ayra. But after 3 years i.e. in 2018, there was going to be turmoil in the life of this Indian cricketer.
In March 2018, an FIR was lodged against Shami and his family on charges of domestic harassment and ill-treatment. Even serious allegations like assault, attempt to murder and poisoning were leveled against Shami. An arrest warrant was also issued against him in September 2019. Apart from this, Hasin Jahan also accused Mohammed Shami of match fixing, but BCCI’s anti-corruption unit gave him a clean chit after investigation. Now the situation is such that Shami has not been able to meet his daughter for many years.
Sania Mirza has got divorced
There was no such thing as police, court or harassment in Sania Mirza’s life, but after divorce, her life has also become sad. In April 2010, this veteran Indian tennis player married Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik. The marriage of both of them took place in a very luxurious manner. The couple stayed together for about 14 years, but in the last months of the year 2023, rumors started flying that Sania and Shoaib might separate.
Finally, in January 2024, Sania Mirza’s family confirmed that she had divorced Shoaib Malik. Sania is now living with her son, Izhaan. It has been seen in many media interviews that after the divorce, Sania’s face has started looking sad.
