A former BSP minister and servant has been accused of assaulting a Dalit farmer. When the police did not take action after the complaint, the victim lodged an FIR at Mohanlalganj police station with the help of the court.

According to Dalit farmer Rajaram, resident of Daulatkheda village, he owns land worth Rs 50 lakh on the side of the highway. It is alleged that former BSP minister Javed Iqbal had asked him to buy his land for Rs 50 lakh. Javed had given Rs 4 lakh each to Rajaram’s two brothers as a statement. But he neither got the registration done nor paid the dues.

The victim alleges that on September 27, 2023, he had gone to meet the former minister at his house in PGI, Senani Bihar. Here Javed Iqbal abused him. The servant beat the farmer badly and drove him out of the house. Rajaram complained about the matter to PGI and Mohanlalganj police station, but no hearing took place. On the contrary, the police sent him away by threatening to send him to jail.

It is alleged that Mohanlalganj police also got his signature on plain paper. Even after this the accused were calling him and threatening him. At the same time, in this matter, former BSP minister with status Javed Iqbal said that the allegation is baseless. Four lakh rupees were given to buy the farmer’s land.
