Ingredients for Moong Dal Toast

1 cup Moong Dal (soaked Hui)
1/2 onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup carrot, grated
1/4 cup capsicum, grated
2 green chillies
1 inch ginger
1 tbsp ghee
4 bread slices
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/4 tsp Turmeric, salt as per taste
1 tbsp coriander, finely chopped

How to make moong dal toast?

1. Put moong dal, green chilli and ginger in a grinding jar and grind it to make a smooth batter.

2. Add asafoetida, onion, capsicum, carrot, red chilli, turmeric, coriander powder and salt to the batter and mix everything well.

3. Heat a pan by placing it on the gas, now take a bread slice and spread the batter on one side of it.

4. Spread some ghee on the hot pan and place the toast on it, now spread the batter on the other side also.

5. Put some ghee on it and fry it from the other side also till it becomes crispy.

6. When the toast is cooked well from both sides, cut it and serve with chutney.
