Due to lack of drivers and conductors, more than 25 buses are parked every day in Moradabad and Pitalnagari workshops. Due to non-operation of buses, the revenue of the transport corporation is lost, along with this, passengers have to face problems in reaching their destination.

More than 150 roadways buses are operated from Moradabad and Pitalnagari depots on various routes including Delhi, Lucknow, Amroha, Rampur Chandausi, Haridwar, Dehradun, Dhampur. On Monday, more than 25 buses were standing in Moradabad and Pitalnagari depot workshops located in Katghar due to lack of conductors and drivers.

Passengers have to bear the brunt of this. These buses are parked in the workshop every day because there are no rules for operating these buses. Some of these buses have drivers who come some days and do not come some days.

Drivers drive the buses one day and leave them parked the next day. Due to which the buses remain parked. According to the Transport Corporation, there is a shortage of more than 500 drivers and conductors in Moradabad region. Regional Manager Mamta Singh says that recruitment of drivers and conductors is going on. The process will be completed soon.
