Two accused cheated Rs 14 lakh from Ganesh, a resident of Mahbullaganj of Katghar police station area, in the name of getting him a job in a pharmaceutical company. The victim has given an application in the SSP office requesting action.

The victim Ganesh told in his prayer that he runs a shop selling cosmetic goods. An acquaintance was to visit his house and shopkeeper. He said that if you spend Rs 10 to 15 lakh, I will make you an officer in the pharmaceutical company.

After this, you will get a salary of Rs 80 to 90 thousand per month. The accused also told that he is building a factory for the pharmaceutical company in Moradabad. After this, on March 28, 2024, the accused youth brought a person with him.

Whom he described as a senior officer of the company and his boss. He had also shown Ganesh many photographs of the pharmaceutical company. The factory will also start in Moradabad in the next month. Employees will also be recruited for this.

Ganesh had given Rs 14 lakh on different dates, believing the words of the accused and his partner, but neither did Ganesh get a job nor did he get his money.

The accused are threatening if the money is demanded back. SSP Hemraj Meena has ordered Katghar police station in-charge to investigate the matter and take action.
