When the young man did not marry after getting registered a year ago, the girl became angry. She reached the house of a youth resident of village Manawala on Sunday morning and sat on strike. On receiving information about the altercation between the boyfriend and girlfriend, the police brought both of them to the police station. The young man said that he would get married after his elder brother’s marriage.
The police understood and released both of them. The girl, resident of a village in Thakurdwara area, reached her lover’s house in Manawala village at 9 am on Sunday and started creating ruckus. The girl caught her lover in his house and started expressing her displeasure at not marrying him.
The girl alleges that the young man had registered the marriage about a year ago, but is not getting married now. The girl sat on strike demanding marriage. The girl said that she has come here to get married and will stay only after getting married. The young man tried to convince him.
Assured that first the elder brother would get married, after that he would marry her. On this the girl said that we have got the marriage registered, it has been a year since it was done, but even after repeated requests, he is not getting married. As the uproar increased, a crowd of village people gathered.
The youth’s family informed the police. On information dialing 112, police reached the spot and caught the lover and girlfriend and brought them to the police station. Even after the police explained, the girl remained adamant on marrying her lover. However, the police pacified the girl and sent her home.
