The court of Additional District and Session Judge Anchal Lavania has sentenced the person who made illegal English liquor by mixing urea to life imprisonment. A fine of six thousand rupees has been imposed on him. The person who got punishment in the business of adulterated liquor is 80 percent handicapped in his legs.

This case of illegal liquor was registered in Asmoli police station of Sambhal on 17 January 2015. In the report of Inspector Naresh Kumar Kataria, it was said that he was patrolling on the Manota bridge near Sirpura village in Sambhal.

During this time Deepak Chaudhary, a resident of Bhawanipur village of Didauli in Amroha district was arrested. He had 80 quarters of English liquor in a plastic bag. He had made the liquor himself. The quarters had Haryana state labels on them, which he was going to sell in Sambhal.

The police presented Deepak in the court and sent him to jail. Also, the liquor samples were sent for testing. The forensic lab’s test report revealed that the liquor was made by mixing urea. After the chargesheet was filed in the court, the advocates of both the sides presented their arguments.

Assistant District Government Advocate Kaushal Kumar Gupta said that in this case, the prosecution said that the person who drank such liquor could have died. After the hearing was over, the court sentenced Deepak to life imprisonment and fine.
