A speeding truck coming from the front hit a bike near Hakimpur village on Agwanpur-Pakbada bypass. In this accident, bike rider Bunty (35) and his brother-in-law’s wife (Salhaj) Krishna (35) died. Krishna was returning home after delivering the wedding card of her brother-in-law’s daughter to her maternal home Maudha Tayya.

Krishna’s wife Prempal alias Pappu, who lost her life in the accident, was a resident of Hospur village of Tanda police station area of ​​Rampur. Her husband works in a factory. On 22nd February, Krishna’s brother-in-law Sarjeet and sister-in-law Bhuri’s daughter Omwati are getting married.

On Tuesday, Krishna had gone to her maternal home Maudha Tayya to distribute wedding cards. Krishna had taken along Bunty, a resident of Nailaka village of Nandoi Dilari police station area. Both were returning home by bike in the evening. The bike was hit by a speeding truck coming from Agwanpur near Hakimpur on Pakbada Agwanpur bypass.

In this accident, Krishna died on the spot while Bunty was seriously injured. On getting information about the accident, the police reached the spot and admitted Bunty to a private hospital located on Delhi Road, where after treatment, Bunty also died.

Police have taken the truck into their custody while the driver fled from the spot. Family members told that Bunty is survived by his wife Bala, son Rohit, Radhika and one year old son Chhotu. Bunty lived with his family in Kashipur and worked in a factory there.

Whereas Krishna has sons Pankaj and Pishuy in his family. Police station in-charge Rajiv Sharma said that both the bodies have been sent for post-mortem. A case has been registered against the driver. The driver is being searched.
