According to AIIMS data, the year 2021 Most of the patients admitted to trauma centers during road accidents in 2022 were those who did not wear helmets while driving. This includes the two-wheeler driver as well as the pillion passenger. He suffered serious injuries in the accident due to not wearing a helmet. Dr. Kamran Farooq, head of the Trauma Center at AIIMS, said that in the year 2021, 18.59 percent of the patients admitted to the Trauma Center after being injured in a road accident were those who did not wear a helmet while driving, while the driving seat 43.79 percent of the people sitting behind were not wearing helmets. According to the data of the year 2022, there was not complete awareness among two-wheeler drivers about wearing helmets. But compared to the year 2021, there has been a slight decrease in the number of people driving.

Apart from this, in the year 2022, the number of people driving without wearing a helmet will decrease from 18.59 percent to 15.42 percent. I went. At the same time, the number of passengers sitting on the back seat of a two-wheeler and not wearing a helmet while driving was 41.12 percent in the year 2022. Dr. Farooq said that we found in the statistics that 40 percent of the people sitting pillion on two-wheelers are unfortunately not wearing helmets. The head of AIIMS Trauma Center said that if you value life, then ensure that you wear a helmet whenever you ride a two-wheeler.
