Rishi Kapoor had gone to Kashmir for the shooting of Yash Chopra’s film Kabhi Kabhi. There thousands of people started throwing stones at him. The situation became so bad that the army had to intervene to evacuate them.

Deepak Sarin, an assistant of Yash Chopra, went to see the situation, but suddenly the situation went out of control. There was chaos in the hotel with a crowd of thousands. They were throwing stones and fireballs at the hotel. The crowd had become thirsty for my and Deepak’s blood.
Seeing the matter escalating, ordered people to hide in their rooms. He was asked to lie down under the bed. The crowd had started breaking the windows. The hotel was burnt to ashes.
