Amidst the murmur of implementing the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), SP MP from Sambhal Lok Sabha seat, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman Burke has given a statement. The SP MP said that CAA will not be beneficial but will worsen the situation in the country. Said that to run the country, love is needed, not hatred.

On the question of whether the 32 thousand Afghan and Pakistani Hindu and Sikh refugees who took refuge in India will get benefits after the implementation of CAA, SP MP Dr. Shafiqur Rahman Burke said that instead of getting any benefit, the situation will worsen. There will be no spark of love among the people. If love had been used till today in the country then there would have been love among the people.

Our country would have benefited and we would have moved forward. In a poetic manner, MP Dr. Burke said that for love, this relationship is less important for a person, whether he is black or white but he is a progeny. He said that the more we spread the fire of hatred, the more damage will be caused. The MP requested that instead of ending hatred, give the message of love to each other.

This will benefit the country and also benefit everyone. On the question of whether CAA will have any impact on the Lok Sabha elections or not, the MP said that CAA will not have any impact on the elections. The real spirit of politics will be against this. Every person is free to vote. Considering the country, the right vote should be used.
