I used to refuse that film, but for how long will I be able to refuse? There was a time when I had to sit my parents down and say – ‘Papa, I can’t miss this part because sometimes it happens in it, it’s not my choice.’

Had to leave films because of this

Mrinal further said, ‘I wanted to do a film but I had to leave it because it involved a kissing scene. As an actor you have to be prepared because sometimes the scene demands it. If you are not comfortable, you can tell but I kept missing films because of this.

Parents were not in support
The actress told that initially her parents were not in support of her doing films and leaving college. When he got the offer of the first show and told his father, he did not agree to it. Mrinal had to focus on both college and work, but when the attendance went up and down, his father asked him to focus completely on the show.
