Mafia Mukhtar Ansari, lodged in Banda jail, had recently accused him of poisoning the jail food. He had said that due to this his health became very serious and it seemed that he could die at any time. Calling it a big conspiracy, Mukhtar Ansari had also requested the court to get him treatment. During the hearing of the gangster case, his lawyer had submitted his application to the court.
In fact, after the ambulance incident, the hearing of the case of 12 gangsters including Mukhtar Ansari was going on in the city police station of Barabanki. On March 21, he was produced before MPMLA Court Judge Kamalkant Srivastava through video conferencing. While Zafar alias Chanda appeared from Sant Kabir Nagar and Afroz alias Chunnu appeared from Ghazipur jail. During this hearing, no witness was present but Mukhtar Ansari’s lawyer had submitted his application to the court.
In the letter, Mukhtar Ansari had said that there was poison in the food provided to him in Banda jail on March 19. He became seriously ill after consuming it. There is pain in his hands and legs and in all the nerves of the body. Hands and feet are getting cold. feeling nervous. It seems that death can happen at any time.
Mukhtar had also told the court that 40 days ago also slow poison was given in his food. Therefore, the jail staff who prepares his food and gives it to him after tasting it also fell ill and was treated.
