Looking at the needs of people of certain sections, the government runs schemes for their benefit. While the central government runs schemes for the citizens of its country, the state government also runs schemes for the citizens of its state keeping in mind their interests.
The Maharashtra government has started a new scheme for the women of its state. The name of this scheme is Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Behen Yojana. Under this scheme, the women of the state will be given Rs 1500 every month by the government. Let us know which women can get benefits under this scheme. These women can apply for the scheme
The Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladli Behen Yojana run by the Maharashtra government is similar to the Mukhyamantri Ladli Behen Yojana of the Madhya Pradesh government. Under this scheme, the Maharashtra government will send Rs 1500 every month to the beneficiary women in their accounts under DBT i.e. Direct Benefit Transfer. Maharashtra Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has announced the launch of the scheme this month. Under the scheme, women of the state will have to fulfill some eligibility criteria.
Through the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Behan Yojana, benefits will be given to those women who are from economically weak families. The annual income of the women’s family should not be more than 2.5 lakhs. Along with this, no member of the family of the beneficiary women should be in a government job. To apply for the scheme, the age of the women should be between 21 years to 60 years.
What is the application process?
To apply for Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Behan Yojana, beneficiary women must have some important documents. These documents include Aadhaar card, caste certificate, ration card, intermediate mark sheet, residence certificate, income certificate, phone number and bank account details. The application form for Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Behan Yojana can be downloaded from the official website of the district. Along with these documents, the form has to be filled and submitted. The government has not yet created a portal for this scheme.
