Such environment is needed for good yield

Maize is a tropical crop. Its yield is good at a temperature between 20 to 30 degree Celsius. There should be light moisture at the time of transplanting of plants. If we talk about soil, then sandy loam soil is better for this. Experts say that even if the soil is not sandy loam, it can be grown on normal land as well.

planting and irrigation

Before planting the seeds in the field, do deep plowing two to three times. Later leave the field open for some time. For better yield, add 7 to 8 tonnes of cow dung manure. Nitrogen, zinc sulphate and other elements should be sprinkled for the supply of nutrients. About 22 thousand seeds can be grown in one acre. The distance between two seeds should be 75 cm. Sow the seeds a few days after irrigation. When maize seeds start growing, irrigation should be done. Keep clearing the weeds. Apart from this, keep irrigating from time to time.
