4 new cases were revealed on Monday
Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said that in the last 24 hours, no case of death due to corona has been registered in Mumbai. With this, the total number of corona cases in Mumbai is 11 lakh 55 thousand 240 while the death toll due to infection is 19 thousand 747. On March 11, 2020, for the first time two corona patients were reported in Mumbai. That is, after two years, 10 months and 14 days, no case of corona has been registered in the city. Although 4 new cases of corona were reported in Mumbai on Monday, but no case of death was reported.
8 new cases of corona found in Maharashtra
On the other hand, if we talk about Maharashtra, 8 new cases of corona were registered in Maharashtra on Tuesday. With the new cases, the total number of corona cases in the state has increased to 81 lakh 37 thousand 75. The health department from the state gave this information. However, there is no news of anyone dying from Corona during this period. That is, the number of people who died of corona in Maharashtra remains only 1 lakh 48 thousand 420.
Most active cases in Pune
If we talk about the recovery of patients, then 79 lakh 88 thousand 545 people have defeated Corona in Maharashtra so far. At the same time, 110 cases of corona are currently active in the state. The health department said that in the last 24 hours, 9737 corona sample tests have been done in Maharashtra. The highest number of active cases in the state are in Pune (33), followed by Thane (24) and then Mumbai (23).
