Shubhangi Raja’s Easy Moong Dal Soup Recipe
Required Ingredients:
1 bowl soaked moong dal
1 green chilli
7-8 garlic cloves
a little ginger
Coriander
1 teaspoon cow ghee
black salt
Cumin
sesame seeds
1 lemon
Method of preparation:
Soak and grind lentils:
Grind the soaked moong dal in a mixer. While grinding, add green chilli and ginger. Adjust water accordingly to keep the soup thick or thin.
Preparation of tempering:
Heat ghee in a pan and fry the garlic in it until it turns golden brown. Keep some garlic aside for garnishing. Then add cumin seeds and pour the ground lentil mixture into the pan.
Cooking Process:
Cook the mixture on medium flame for 5-7 minutes. Add black salt in it. Cover with lid and let it cook in steam. After turning off the gas, add lemon juice as per taste.

Sprinkle roasted sesame seeds, fried garlic and coriander over the prepared soup.
