Munjya Box Office Collection Day 1: Bollywood actress Sharvari Wagh’s film ‘Munjya’ has been released in theatres on Friday, June 7. This is a horror film directed by Aditya Sarpotdar. It has had an average start at the box office. So far its first day earnings have been revealed.

‘Munjya’ is a film made without any big face. Friday is the first day of this film in theatres. The film has been successful in scaring the audience. However, people are also focused on its earnings. According to the report of Saccanilk, this film has earned Rs 1.48 crore till 5 pm. These are preliminary figures. The final figures of the first day’s box office collection will be released after 10 pm.
‘Munjya’ is nowhere near ‘woman’
This film has been produced jointly by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik. Earlier, Dinesh Vijan had also produced the superhit horror film ‘Stree’. This was also a horror film and was successful in winning the hearts of the audience. But his claim regarding ‘Munjya’ seems to be backfiring.
Let us tell you that Stree had a great start at the box office. This film was released on 31 August 2018. Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao were seen in it. Stree collected Rs 6.83 crore on the first day in India which is much more and better than ‘Munjya’. However, the final figures of Munjya’s first day box office collection are yet to come. Half the budget of the film was spent on VFX
Before the release of the film, its director Aditya Sarpotdar told PTI in an interview, “50 per cent of the film’s cost was spent on VFX and it is a huge amount. It is (the makers’) conviction or the importance of VFX (in the film)…we created a character from the CGI and VFX space which came from a lot of research and hard work.”
Now Sonakshi-Ritesh will work in Aditya’s film
Aditya Sarpotdar has established himself in the field of film direction. After the release of ‘Munjya’, he will now work with Bollywood actors Ritesh Deshmukh and Sonakshi Sinha. Both Bollywood actors will be in the lead roles in Aditya’s film ‘Kakuda’.
