Muslim men Why do not wear gold Islamic law Sharia whats say

There are two basic principles in Islam, Haram and Halal, which every Muslim strictly follows. You know that in Islam, men are forbidden to wear jewelry made of gold. This act is equal to Haram for them. Even wearing a gold ring or chain is prohibited. But in Islam, women are exempted from these rules. Women can wear jewelry made of gold.

What is the reason behind this
The ideal prophet of Islam, Muhammad, has said that men should not use two things, the first being gold and the second being clothes made of silk. Both things are allowed for Islamic women. However, men can use jewellery made of silver instead of gold.

Islamic scholar told the reason for the ban
When an Islamic scholar was asked about this, Maulana Ejaz Qasmi, associated with the mosque of Delhi Waqf Board, said that in Islam, men are prohibited from wearing gold because our prophet Muhammad has said so. For those who are followers of Prophet Muhammad, this is a haraam act. Women are completely exempted from these rules. Because of the orders of the prophet, we follow his orders.

Maulana Ejaz Qasmi also gave another reason for this that earlier emperors used to wear gold ornaments to humiliate others. They used to eat food in gold utensils. This means that earlier rich people used gold to show themselves as great.

To avoid all these inequalities, he issued such an order for men which every man who believes in Islam has to follow. Gold is a very precious metal, because of which wearing gold attracts evil towards you, which can lead to theft and even killing others.

Islamic law (Sharia) has also declared the use of gold as haraam for men. Wearing gold is allowed only in heaven, because there will be no discrimination of any kind in heaven. Everyone will be equal. No one will be arrogant there. According to Sharia, in Islam, only men can wear gold in heaven.
