Background of Correctional Home Case
According to the information, in the correctional home case, the incidents of alleged rape and abuse of 11 women and four children in the home run by Brajesh Thakur’s NGO Seva Sankalp had created a sensation across the country. After the matter came to light, its investigation was handed over to the CBI. The case came to light in 2018, when an audit report by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) revealed atrocities against women and children at the home.
