Atish Trivedi/Lakhimpur Kheri: A shocking incident has come to light in a village in Kotwali Mohammadi area of Lakhimpur Kheri district of UP. Where a house has mysteriously caught fire more than fifteen times in two days at different places. The victim family says that till now their house has mysteriously caught fire more than fifteen times. The family is forced to live in the shadow of terror. All the household items have been burnt to ashes. For two days, the victim family has been living in an atmosphere of strange fear. On receiving the information, Kotwali Mohammadi in-charge Indrajit Singh and the regional lekhpal reached the spot for investigation.
Lal Ji Shukla, a resident of village Bastauli in Kotwali Mohammadi area, said that a sudden fire broke out in the house on Thursday. He thought it must have happened due to some reason but the series of fires continued after that. The victim said that till Saturday morning, fire has mysteriously broken out in the house more than fifteen times. Fire has mysteriously broken out in the curtains, bed and wooden cupboard kept in the house.
Due to repeated fires, the food grains, bedding, medicines and curtains kept in the house have been burnt to ashes. The victim’s family said that four members live in the house. Earlier, there had never been any incident of fire in their house.
The series of fires started on Thursday evening. The victim’s family says that they have even cut off the electricity connection of their house. Despite this, the mystery of the fire is not ending. They were worried and even called the fire brigade on the spot. The whole family is forced to live under the open sky due to the fear of the mysterious fire.
