Mysore-Darbhanga Train Accident: The Bagmati Express going from Mysore to Darbhanga collided with a goods train parked near Kavaraipettai railway station in Tamil Nadu on Friday (October 11). In which at least 20 people were injured. In this accident, some coaches derailed and the coaches of the express train caught fire. Rescue operation is being conducted by the local officials present there.
This train was running at a speed of 75 km/hour when it collided with the goods train. Rescue teams and ambulance have reached the spot. In the accident, 12 to 13 coaches derailed and at least 19 to 20 people were injured, who have been taken to the hospital.

7.The train was reportedly traveling at a speed of about 75 km/hr before the track change, which could have been the cause of the accident.
8. After the accident, train operations have been stopped on both routes.
With the help of 8 fire brigade team, the fire in the parcel van and railway has been extinguished.
9. Stewards and senior officials are at the scene and most of the passengers have been rescued, either discharged or taken to hospitals.
10. Alternative arrangements are being made to transport, transport and feed the passengers.
