A middle-aged man died after falling into an open drain in Nalanda, Bihar on Saturday night. The matter is behind Shringarghat locality of Nagar police station area of ​​Bihar Sharif. The deceased has been identified as Manoj Sharma (55), son of late Sukhdev Mistry, resident of Shringarhat Mohalla under Sohsarai police station area.

Regarding the incident, the family members of the deceased told that Manoj Sharma used to run a furniture shop near the Health Club of Bihar Sharif. Like every day, he was returning home after closing his shop in the evening. Then he fell into an open drain, due to which he died. The incident came to light when some people were passing by. There his eyes fell on a middle-aged man who had fallen in the drain. After that they were taken out with the help of local people. Then he was hurriedly admitted to Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital. Where the doctors declared him dead.

The family members are expressing apprehension that Manoj Sharma fell in the drain for about two hours, due to which he died. This incident happened due to open drain. It is being told that the deceased has three sons and three daughters. There is chaos among the family members after this incident.

Meanwhile, in this case, City Police Station President Ramshankar Singh said that the body has been handed over to the family members after post-mortem. The application has not yet been received from the relatives of the deceased. The police have been involved in the investigation of the case.
