On Wednesday night in Nalanda, armed miscreants entered a house and committed robbery. The matter is of Alaudiya village of Manpur police station area. The robbery incident took place in the house of (62) year old retired teacher Kusum Devi. After getting information about the incident, the police has started investigating the matter.

Kusum Devi was living alone in the house. Family members used to come to meet on Sundays. Elder son Kaushmendra Kumar is working as a cashier in Punjab National Bank in Sheikhpura. Whereas, the second son works in Assam, both of them live there with their children.

Kusum Devi told that a miscreant entered from behind the house through the roof and opened the latch of the door. He woke up due to a knocking and saw armed criminals in front of him. When she tried to scream, the miscreants pointed their weapons at her head and asked her to keep quiet. The miscreants tied his hands and legs and stuffed cloth in his mouth. Two miscreants sat in front with guns on their heads and kept showing bullets. The miscreants were repeatedly threatening to shoot.

Two miscreants kept looting the house

The miscreants entered the house at around 12 o’clock and continued looting for two hours. The miscreants looted Godrej, gold and silver jewelery kept in boxes and two lakh rupees in cash and easily escaped from the back door of the house. The miscreants looted four silver bowls, 50 silver coins, two lakh cash and jewelery worth Rs 30 lakh within an hour. The victim told that the miscreants were using the local language in conversation. This incident was planned, they knew that no one lived in the house. The incident has been carried out only by doing Reiki.

The woman from the next house freed herself from bondage

Eyewitness Ramvati Devi told that Kusum Devi somehow reached near her house and started calling her. When she opened the door and came out, Kusum Devi’s hands were tied behind her back. After this, when he was freed, he came to know that his house had been looted by miscreants. After this he created a ruckus and then people gathered nearby and the miscreants stuffed a cloth in his mouth. So that he cannot make that noise. Manpur police station chief said that the miscreants had entered the house and carried out the robbery. The police have started investigating the matter. Soon the miscreants will be arrested and the matter will be resolved.
