Nalin Yadav: Indore’s stand-up comedian Nalin Yadav was arrested in 2021 along with comedian Munawar Farooqui. He was allegedly accused of hurting religious sentiments. He remained behind bars for 57 days in this case. He was later granted bail. Now the stand-up comedian has shared a video in which some people are seen attacking his brother. This video has shocked everyone.

Local goons are harassing me
Let us tell you that Nalin has alleged that local goons have been harassing him a lot since his release from jail. Late on Sunday night, Nalin released a video of the march. In the video, some people are seen attacking him and his brother on the road. Nalin claimed in an Instagram post with this video that since his arrest, he and his brother have faced “constant harassment and violence from local goons and ruling party allies”.

broke my brother’s leg
In the post, the comedian wrote, ‘I thought if I leave this place, my brother will get peace from this situation, but unfortunately, he broke my brother’s leg last year. We filed the first FIR, but nothing happened. Two months later, he broke the same leg and we filed the FIR again, but nothing happened. Finally, we decided to move to another city. It was financially and mentally difficult, but we tried.

Police filed FIR for fighting with goons
Nalin further wrote, “But a month ago, I got a warrant at my home, and I came to know that the police had filed an FIR against me for fighting those goons. I was completely unaware. They directly sent an arrest warrant against me. Now, the situation is tough for us. We don’t know what to do, how to survive this situation, financially and mentally we are broken.

I never posted about it because I just wanted to forget the incident as soon as possible, but it never left us alone. Today, I am not a comedian. I am not someone who can find laughter in disguise. We are just waiting for justice one day, though I am not very hopeful about it, but we are trying every other day.”

Identity has been created as anti-national
Speaking to The Indian Express, Nalin said that his harassment started “immediately after his release from jail”. He said that the police had told him that this would keep happening so he should change his house. Nalin said, “In my hometown, I have a new identity as an anti-national. There are some people who are relatives and supporters of the ruling party, who have been harassing my brother and me for three years.

After being released from jail, I did not go home for more than three days in two years because some goons here were constantly harassing us.”

Who is Nalin Yadav?
Let us tell you that 28-year-old Nalin Yadav was one of the five people arrested along with stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui by Indore Police on January 1, 2021.
