Now the Gurugram Municipal Corporation area has made further changes regarding this scheme. Now more than 5000 garbage pickers of Gurugram will also be benefited under the Namaste scheme. Now they will get the facility of PPE kits for garbage collection, health insurance benefits and they will also be given training to pick garbage properly. All these garbage pickers will have to register themselves through a digital app. After this, they will be given PPE kits, safety equipment and health insurance coverage.
