Which is given in three installments of Rs 2 thousand each. Similarly, Maharashtra government had started Namo Shetkari Yojana in the year 2023. Under this scheme, the Maharashtra government gives Rs 6,000 every year to the farmers of the state. That means farmers of Maharashtra get Rs 6 thousand from the Central Government every year.

So Rs 6 thousand is received from the state government. That means the farmers of Maharashtra get double benefit from Namo Shetkari Yojana. Under this scheme, the government provides crop insurance to farmers for Re 1. The government has allocated Rs 6900 crore for this. About 1.5 crore farmer families will benefit under the scheme.

The government has fixed some eligibility criteria for applying under Namo Shetkari Yojana. To apply for the scheme, farmers must be permanent residents of Maharashtra. Farmers must have land for farming. For this, it is necessary for the farmer to be registered with the Agriculture Department of Maharashtra. Also, it is necessary to be registered in the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. It is necessary to link Aadhar card to the bank account of farmers. To apply for the scheme, it is also necessary to submit the necessary documents.
