Potato (big size) – 1 kg
Maida/cornflour – 2 tbsp
Black pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
Chaat masala – 1 tsp
Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp
Oil – for frying
Salt – as required

Making french fries is very easy. For this, first wash the potatoes with clean water and then with the help of a sieve, peel off their upper skin. After this, cut long pieces of potatoes. Now take water in a vessel and add some salt to it and dissolve it. As the potatoes get cut, put them in salt water. Potatoes will not turn black with this and french fries will be good.

After cutting all the potatoes, take them out of the water with the help of a strainer and spread them on a kitchen towel. After this, dry the water of the potatoes by pressing them with the other part of the towel. After this cover the potatoes with a towel and leave it for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, put oil in a pan and heat it. When the oil is well heated, take potato pieces and put them in the pan and deep fry them.

When the potatoes are lightly fried, take them out in a plate or on tissue paper, so that the excess oil of the potatoes can be removed. When the color of french fries becomes light golden, take them out in a plate and serve hot by adding chaat masala, black pepper powder, green coriander.
