According to the report of Pinkvilla, film producer Deepak Mukut has revealed that ‘Nayak 2’ is under process. Work on the script of the film is almost done and it can be announced soon. The producer also told that work on the screenplay is also going on and the makers are trying their best to make Anil Kapoor and Rani Mukherjee work together again in this film.
In the same report, Deepak Mukut further said, ‘We are planning a sequel and are trying to take the characters which were there earlier. After a long time we will work with AM Ratnam. We are writing the script and discussions are also going on as to who should be cast in the lead role. As soon as the script is complete, we will start further work. We have also kept the names of some good directors in mind, although no one has been finalized yet.
