On Thursday, June 15, 2023, the 59th Foundation Day of Kainchi Dham will be celebrated. Although there is an influx of devotees here throughout the year, but on this special occasion more than 2 lakh devotees are expected to reach here and a huge Bhandara will also be organized. Baba Neem Karoli first came here in 1961 and established Kainchi Dham in 1964 along with his friend Purnanand.
Many miracles are associated with Scissor Dham
- Kainchi Dham is full of miracles and mysteries. Baba has many ashrams across the country. But Kainchi Dham located in Uttarakhand is the biggest ashram of Neem Korli Baba. There is also the tomb of Neem Karoli Baba here. Along with India, there is a crowd of foreign devotees in Kainchi Dham.
- It is said that many miracles of Baba happened in this Dham. One of the many miracles associated with Kainchi Dham is that, once Bhandara was going on in Kainchi Dham. But then ghee became less. The devotees told this thing to Baba. Baba asked the devotees to bring water from the river. On Baba’s order, water was brought in a canister from the river flowing below and it was used to make Prasad. But the water turned into ghee as soon as it was put in the vessel.
- It is said that once a devotee was suffering a lot due to heat. Then Neem Karori Baba took his devotee to his destination by making a cloud umbrella to save him from the hot summer sun.
- Many such stories are related to the holy Kainchi Dham and Baba Neem Karoli, knowing or listening to which people themselves come here to take shelter of Baba.
