Neeraj Chopra won the Lausanne Diamond League: India’s star javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra clinched the gold medal with a throw of 87.66 meters in the Diamond League 2023 on June 30 at the Lausanne stage. In the Lausanne Diamond League, Neeraj Chopra came back brilliantly in his second and third attempts after his first attempt was fouled. However, after 3 throws, Germany’s Julian Weber had secured the first position in the table with a throw of 86.20 metres.

This was the 8th gold medal in Neeraj Chopra’s career. This is his second gold medal in the Diamond League this year. Earlier, Neeraj had also won the gold medal in the Doha Diamond League.
