The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has taken major action in the NEET paper leak case. The team has arrested three accused from Patna on Saturday. Two of them (Mangalam Vishnoi and Deependra Sharma) are said to be solvers. Both are students of Bharatpur Medical College. Both of them are accused of solving the NEET paper on May 4 while staying in Hazaribagh. The third accused has been identified as Shashikant Paswan. He is said to be an associate of Pankaj Kumar and Rocky alias Rakesh. Not only this, the three accused arrested by the CBI are also said to be close to Sanjeev Mukhiya, the mastermind of this case.

Rocky’s remand period extended by four days

Here, the CBI team will first present these three accused in the court. After this, it will take permission from the court to take them on remand. Many important clues have been found on the basis of the arrest and interrogation of Rakesh Ranjan alias Rocky. On Saturday, the special CBI court of Patna extended Rocky’s remand period by four more days. It is being told that the CBI is continuously taking action on the basis of Rocky’s information.

The strings of paper leak are also connected to RIMS

Here, a day earlier, a student has been arrested from Ranchi in the same case. The CBI said that Surabhi Kumari, a second year student of Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Ranchi, has been arrested in the NEET-UG paper leak case. In this way, the strings of paper leak have also been linked to RIMS. The CBI says that Surabhi had solved the question papers of the candidates of NEET-UG examination. In this way, the alleged involvement of the student with the solver gang cannot be ruled out. Officials said that Surabhi Kumari was interrogated for two days. After this, the student was taken into custody by the CBI. It is alleged that Surabhi was the fifth member of the ‘solver gang’, who was present in Hazaribagh on the morning of May 5, the day of NEET-UG examination, to solve the paper stolen by Pankaj Kumar.
